New York! Day three… ~*

Good evening friend’s! Yesterday was eventful and challenging at the same time! My first adventure took me to madame tussauds, the wax statue parlour of gloriness! On of my favourite YouTube hosts was nowhere to be seen – specifically Jenna Marbles. Ed Sheeran also was nowhere to be seen. .. but no worries! There were so many others that I never had a hard time fan-girling over! Check it out…

Guy’s, there are so many I could show you but then I would not be able to show you the rest! Just know that this place is worth a visit for those who are interested and book online so that you do not pay  $10-20 extra at the door.

My next adventure, the second half of the ticket, was to go on a sight seeing boat cruise!  We went up the Hudson river, to the 9/11 memorial, to the Brooklyn bridge and finally finishing off passing by the statue of liberty. I would definitely recommend the joint ticket for a guaranteed epic time…

Friend’s. .. I present,  the 9/11 memorial. .. I took only three photographs because I felt like if I took any more, especially selfies, the disrespect would be unreal.

The slabs aroundthe memorial have the names of everyone who lost their lives that day… and as I was walking around,  I noticed flowers on some of them.  These flowers symbolised the birthdays of those who would have been celebrating that day if they were still around…

The gap where the twin towers stood was never filled…

Moving on to the Brooklyn bridge and I think this was the best photo I took… the Manhatten one is directly behind it…

And finally. Lady liberty, as she stands …

After the boat cruise I headed to Carlos’s bakery – known by the show ‘Cake Boss.’ It was a little pricey but heck, the stuff was good…

Just a sample of some casual cakes on offer!

To end my night with a bang, there was only one place I could go…

In all its glory…

Now I forget the name of this epic concoction, it did begin with a K though… the food for sure was a little steep, bit if you want great music and more than welcoming staff, this is the place to be! Times Square was where madame tussauds and hard rock cafe were and the boat was on pier… 78? I think.

Anyways, that’s all for now… goodnight my friend’s!  ~*
